So I'll be playing for an hour or two then the sound gets extremely quiet and mixed with a lot of static. When I turn the amp on and off it goes away. Any ideas?

clean out the pots and jacks with contact cleaner, if that dosen't fix it, it should be on the way to the landfill. the amp isn't worth more than $20-$30 i wouldn't think.

Trashed is right. If cleaning doesn't help you can check if there are any loose connections inside but other than that the amp probably isn't worth throwing away money to fix it.

I called Marshall and they told me about a store local to me that works on amps. Dropped it off there now I wait.

In used condition this is probably 100 bucks. I rather pay the money to get it fixed than junk it and buy a new amp lol

what did they charge?

i ask to know in case something similar comes up with somebody else, to help them figure it out.
