Hi guys
I recently did a guitar project, all turned out great but my tone pot isn't doing anything (tone remains dull and muddy regardless of turning the pot).
Because electronics isn't my strong point I bought a ready made circuit so I could plug in and play without the stress but obviously this didn't work out!
I've just had a quick look at the following link and everything seems the same except on my tone pot the capacitor is linking the base of the pot with the centre connector (not the right connector in the diagram) ie the wire from the volume pot and capacitor are both connected to the centre connector of the tone pot (left and right tone connectors are currently unused)
Is this my problem?

So the tone pot isnt grounded anywhere? Re-wire to match the schematic and you should be fine.
