Actual situation I'm faced with.

I really, really do not want to, but I'm worried that she'll pull the discrimination card (I am discriminating ) and get us in trouble.

Not allowed to ask why she has the dog, either.
It was my privilege

She was born in 1898 in a barn. She died on the thirty-seventh floor of a skyscraper. She's an astronaut.

Seems more feasible in an office or other environment where there aren't many customers/clients around.

Not being allowed to ask why she has the dog makes it seem very suspicious. The dog is probably some sort of terrorist infiltrator. Don't hire her.

Also the dog might cost your company extra money, because you might need to get a dog bowl or something.
I have nothing important to say

Just say somebody else was more qualified. You should've have to hire somebody just cause they have an issue. They're either good or not.

It would depend on the work environment and also if they were the best qualified person available. With that being said, you should hire her anyways because dogs are awesome

I say go for it, a talking dog would be awesome.

Yeah not really.

If my dog could talk I'd probably be in jail.

Will it reasonably affect their ability to do the job? Will is cause undue danger to your workspace to have a dog around?

Then I don't think you have much to worry about. If the last thread is any indication of the types of things people will be required to do at your workplace, someone who needs a service dog shouldn't be daft enough to pursue employment that requires a decent amount of physical labor.
