Apparently, this beat mainly uses F#6, but that sounds way too high. I would have guessed F#4 or even F#3 would be the correct pitch.

By the way, to sing in tune and in key with the beat - does this mean I have to sing it in F#6, or would F#3 suffice? I'm still new to singing - and I want to be in pitch.

It's in D major

The bass sample thing is way too indeterminate, but goes G-G-E-D

Octaves are just a thing of taste, though - you can sing in whatever octave as long as you sing notes that match the context you want to create

Thank you very much for the help!

Is there a good app for knowing if I'm singing the correct notes. I've recorded a lot of my songs and I've been told that I often sing out-of-tune and not the right notes. Now that i'm finally perfectly comfortable with singing, I want to take myself to the next level.
