Hi everyone.I am a Japanese gear otaku.
This is my first contact to a oversea's guitarist.
I want to talk about guitar things for study English!
I like a Djenty gear and Japan vintage guitar.

Please ask me anything!

There are far, far more effective ways to learn the English language than to ask people to ask you questions on a guitar forum that's half dead.

If you have a question about a guitar-related topic, ask here. You can't raise a thread expecting other people to invent the guitar-related topic of the thread you've just created for you. It's like putting the cart before the horse.

With that said, I do have a question.

How come you get to keep all the cool guitars made for the Japanese market only? That's not fair!

Really? I've been further even more decided to use even go need to do look more as anyone can. Can you really be far even as decided half as much to use go wish for that? My guess is that when one really been far even as decided once to use even go want, it is then that he has really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like. It's just common sense.

Those old guitars are popular in Japan too.
Sometimes old guitars are more affordable available in recycle shop.Recycle shop tour is fun.

I think best of affordable Les Paul is Crews KTR LS-01($1000).Do you know? This is a little expensive but it have superb woody tone of double the price.

By the way,What is guitars students using in your country?

Whoa, easy there fella!

Google Yoda, then the effects of LSD. Blend them well. Shaken, not stirred.

I like Edwards guitars. They are for the most part fantastic instruments. I just prefer ESP>Edwards>LTD. ESP snobby.

I really like my Japanese guitars. I own more MIJ than anything else.

ESP>Edwards>LTD???..I researched it.
ESP>LTD≧Edwards>>grassroots in Japan.
Grassroots is ESP's most lower brand.but grassroots is Japan only brand.because you're LTD guitars are include grassroots.
I solved the mystery! We had difference in recognition to ESP brand.

Tokai's V is rare a little in japan too...

Maybe we just end up wit crappy LTD's, or you guys just hog all the ultra elite deluxe LTD's..
But over here from my experience, Edwards are superior to LTD's.

fyi

UG usernames cannot be changed once the account is created and you're only allowed 1 account. Don't be tempted make a new account just because you wanted to change your username. The account will be banned indefinitely. It states this in the rules.

It seems a bit unfair on the surface, but its done this way to prevent belligerent users from circumventing being banned.

Carry on.

Welcome to the forum.

I have a high regard for Japanese-made guitars in general, and some of the very early electrics have a lot of mojo. I have an '82 Westone Rainbow I. Alas, they priced themselves out of the "cheap import" market many years ago, but like TDB, I regret that we don't see more of those Japanese guitars that were made for the local market.

An interest facticle. One successful local guitar business, Tym's Guitars, was based substantially on importing used guitars from Japan. The argument was that the Japanese greatly preferred new stuff, so he could get US and Japanese made guitars cheaply enough to be worth importing. He (Tim Brennan) also claimed that Gibson QC was stricter for the export market to Japan than anywhere else, because the Japanese were more fussy about fit and finish than any other market. However, I'm not sure I believe that.
