Anyone have specs on these pickups? Are they more close with the 490t? I love mine, just like to find out some info

the only difference is the place of manufacturing, the parts are the same
so does an Alnico5 or the wire sound different when an asian worker does the assembling of the pickup ?

So aside from the location, chances are its similiar to the 490, but just built for a les paul?

Not entirely sure what you mean by 'built just for a les paul'

They work for any guitar wired for humbuckers, just like any other,

Your question still doesn't make sense.

The answer is no. A Gibson 490T is a Gibson 490T. There's no such thing as a pickup that's made for one specific guitar. That's just not how pickups work.

It's a bit like asking if a particular guitar pick is made specifically for playing a Les Paul with.

For the record, Epiphone Probuckers are found on a number of their guitars that aren't Les Pauls.

Ok, would you say the epiphone probucker is most relitive to gibsons 490t is what im trying to say, aside from ANY other humbucker that gibson made

I would've thought the Probuckers would be the most akin to a Burstbucker. Given the similarity of their names.

I'm not a particularly big fan of the 490's. They tend to get muddy under a lot of gain.
