Technically a short film, but this is legitimately the last thing I've watched in the past 13 years that has actually made me cry and it's only 6 minutes long. Anti-weeb establishment, be warned.

Gran Torino
The place beyond the pines (super underrated)

Hornorable mention : the lion king, inside out, and basically any movie about the holocaust

Movies don't make me cry. Southpaw was a little close though.

None.

Bridge to Terabithia brought me close when I was a kid though.

I also get bleary sometimes when I watch Dazed and Confused again because it's simultaneously extremely funny and sad.

I welled up at:
End of Watch
Green Mile
Grave of the Fireflies
Tale of the Princess Kaguya
O.K.

Would? You mean if it were a full movie or show or something? Or did you do that thing I did where you watched it thinking it was a trailer only to realize that it's a short film and had to rewatch it because you missed everything?

And out of curiosity, what exactly like it has been done before?

Yeah, you gotta watch it again and pick up on those father-daughter cues to get why it's the saddest thing ever. ;_;

People look at me, they say he's tough, he was in the army he's gonna be hard, by the book. But I am caring, and sensitive. Isn't Schindler's List a brilliant film?

It's the ring giving scene, always the ring giving scene.

Also Synecdoche, New York.

That film will throw you in the deep end.

Probably am obvious one but Les Miserables. Every time.

And not a movie but the anime Fairy Tail. They've got me right in the feels quite a few times.

I can't remember the last movie but this morning I cried to the Hamilton Mixtape and a couple days ago I cried during an episode of Rectify.

I don't feel sane when I don't cry during some films.

Forrest Gump gets me at least once, every time. Tearing up a little just thinking about it.

Braveheart always gets me when they kill his wife and when pops dies. She's looking around and he's nowhere in sight. She's alone. "I've lived to see you become the man you are today. I'm a happy man." Fighting them back right now.

Man that scene brings a huge lump to my throat every. Damn. Time. Everyone bowing down to the little unremarkable people that found themselves in a world and situation much bigger than them, and yet changed the course of history. It's beautiful.

Though it's (was) a tv show and not a film, Scrubs made me tear up plenty of times.
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest (Saw it again last night)

It's really weird but it always the music that sets me off not the event in the movie. Fuck you Edward Scissorhands! That melody that plays when she comes out with his glove gets me every time and he's not even dead!

Not many movies have made me cry.

Away From Her
Like Crazy
Hachiko
It's A Wonderful Life
Vanilla Sky
Blue Valentine
Meet Joe Black

Yeah, that's basically it. On the first time I watched Away From Her, I had to pause it because I was crying so hard during one part. Also, I dumbly watched Like Crazy weeks after a hard breakup and it took me more than three hours to get through with it.

Marley and Me and that pissed me off because it was advertised as a comedy not a heart wrenching story about having to have your beloved pet dog euthanized.

Old Yeller got me too when I was a kid

There are plenty more but I'm not in the mood to list them all.
