Those aren't the best pics. It looks fine from what I can see.

The screws look odd around the switch but it's no biggie. From your choices go for it. Start reading up on how to setup a Floyd if you haven't already. If you're going from Drop C back to Standard you will definitely need a complete setup.

No it's fine. You'll just have to set it all up again - neck relief most likely, rebalance the bridge with the claw screws on the bottom, adjust the action, etc.

Since you're restringing the guitar anyway, remove the bridge and check the knife edges. If they're all dull/chewed up then it's time to buy a new bridge.

The Jackson Floyds in these guitars are not terrible for a Licensed unit, but not great either. Could do with being upgraded to an original Floyd. Although such an upgrade is not cheap, its worth every single penny.

Solid advice. I have a Jackson JT580LP bridge on my Kelly and it works fine. It's not as solid/sturdy/tight feeling as the 1000 series Korean made Floyd on my EC-1001 but the Jackson is also 10+ years older.

I'm not a heavy Floyd user anyway but the Jackson works.

Chapstick was my friend to lube up the knife edges - that made a world of difference on the Jackson.
