HELP! The nail holding the strap button has snapped at the head and the rest in in the guitar, is there anything I can do about this??

So I was going ham while performing and the nail holding the strap button snapped at the head. Now the rest of the nail is stuck within the guitar with no part of it protruding out from the guitar to grip, is there any way to get it out?
Thanks in advance

Yes. It's a screw, not a nail, and a tech can usually get it out for you and replace it with a stronger one.
Might want to consider that EVH used giant eyebolts on some of his guitars instead of wimpy strap button screws.
Might also want to consider a smaller slice of ham.

i disagree. more ham!

but as said a tech can sort that. pull out the old screw, in with the new. it's that time of year anyway.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

Just put in a screw next to it and you're back in business.

That seems like heroically bad advice.

I've done it. No problem.

Oh wait I left this out. Drill next to it and then put a screw in.
