I'd love some feedback. I used to post here pretty frequently. Life got busy. But I lurked from time to time.

Y'all probably don't even member me.

Hey so I like this a lot. It sells the hard rock sound really well. I think my favorite is The Thin Line, it vibes hard

If you want feedback, the only thing that really bothered me consistently is that the background vocals frequently missed notes slightly (the leads are generally great) but singing is impossible and I don't know how people do it so really it's solid af. Your voice is great for this style

Also the end of the chorus in Defiance is awesome

And also your description of this album on bandcamp is spot-on

Also also you should make a Facebook page so I can like it

I definitely like it. I only listened to the first song. There were three things I didn't like:

-The drums sounded all wrong in the mix. The kick was too loud and the cymbals were too quiet.
-The lead guitar was likewise a bit high in the mix and it sounded like you were trying to play a bit above where your skill level is.
-That time went they passed instead of giving it to Marshawn. Your team is stupid.

Otherwise keep up the good work.

i definitely didn't like it didn't even listen but there are three parts i know i would like anyway:

-the part before it starts
-the part after it ends
-the silence between tracks

otherwise keep up the good work at your day job because you'll need it

I mostly agree with theo. Vocals are pretty decent, but the drums weren't well mixed and the guitar is a little overly emphasized. This really shows on 'Sanctuary'. But not too shabby overall.

That said, the verse on 'Sanctuary' sounds like a straight copy of Dream Theater's 'As I Am'

1:22 on your song vs. 1:49 on theirs.

Sounds like a lazy uninspiring generic riff that's on thousands of songs to me m8

i hate "hard rock" but you are decent I guess but I can't really discern "amazing" from "mediocre" obviously because I don't like hard rock.

make some hardcore or something-core or post-something instead, no one cool is into hard rock these days, just those clowns who chuck on a leather jacket like once a year and go glastonbury or some lame weekender festival shit. (joke: you do you. I still hate hard rock tho)
O.K.

^ I've just realised if you say Simple Plan's 2011 effort "Get Your Heart On!" really fast in a Southern American accent, it sounds gross. . .like sexual gross!

It's well-made hard rock. Kick drum is too loud, guitar is too loud here and there, cymbals are too quiet. Vocals are really good and your harmonies are cool.
