Hi y'all,

The strings on my acoustic were changed yesterday and the A and D strings sound muted when played completely open. To give you a better idea, they sound like nylon strings on a classical guitar; it's that kind of 'muted sound' and it's really bugging me.

The E, G, B, E strings are fine, having that lovely metallic ring to them.

Does anyone know what could be causing this and what I can do to fix it?

My guitar is a Taylor 114ce (that I only bought August 2016 so not an old thing) and the strings are Elixir 11-52.
