Hey all, I just got a vintage Sigma DR-2. I've got a couple of these Sigmas, but I've never found one with this logo on the headstock. It appears to be a hand-inlay pearl logo. Notice how the "s" in "guitars" is crooked compared to the rest of the logo. The only info I can find online is that some "special editions" had the pearl logo, and that the "Est 1970" was underlined, which is the case with mine here. Has anyone out there ever seen this or know if it's anything unique? I've attached a PDF of pics. Thanks.

What was the reasoning behind blacking out the last 4 digits of the serial number?
Email Martin Guitars. They no longer own Sigma but they make be able help you by the Serial number.
