I'm not sure...I remember downloading that one CKY bitter beings song that must have been before 2000

I didn't need to look up cheat codes from the internet because I used to borrow a grand cheat code book from the library all the time

First thing I still remember? Pics of boobs and booties, and/or AOL chat

Can't remember. Maybe the first time I was staring at it whilst someone was explaining to me what you can do and I couldn't think of a damn thing to do with it.

I started using the PC regularly at 13 years old. I remember looking up naked pictures of girls my own age & my older sisters saw the browsing history & thought my dad was looking at child porn.
Some see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty. Me? I see that the glass is refillable.

Back in the 1990's it was Harmony Central and Excite Virtual Places for me. I can't remember what I first did online, that was a long time ago and a different world.

I think it was using the Internet search on Encarta Encyclopedia in the late 90s, aside from that, probably Runescape.

First internet service I used was Prodigy. A whole whopping 2400 baud. I remember seeing a "simulation" of what the 9600 baud service looked like and being blown away, lol. Now I have 27 meg, solid, and I bitch that it's not fast enough.

The next we America Online, and back in those days everything was dialup. So..if you didn't have a local access number and went online...an extra charge. So...want to check your America Online mail (remember "You've got mail!")? Fork over $1.99, minimum. Yeah, it sucked.

We were on the internet in late '92 or very early '93, before there was really a web (the Netscape browser really didn't appear widely until around 1994), and we had our domain name in early 1993. I ran an EBBS system and we handled internet email and newsgroups with a full Class C and a pair of T1s, and had our own mail and DNS servers running Unix/Linux.

I seriously think it was porn

I can remember in strangely vivid detail the image of a woman with a full bush standing naked in a doorway with nothing but socks on

playing sonic the hedgehog games. at the time, sonic the hedgehog wasn't as big as it is now, so that sonic youth came up if you searched "sonic".

First porno I ever watched took about an hour to download and it was this 20 second vid of a guy nailing some chick doggystyle and pretty much jizzing all over the place.

Flash games, in their infancy.

Also blizzard games (Starcraft, and Diablo 1)

I was playing the shit out of diablo at like 4 or 5.

Also, gaining encyclopedic knowledge about sharks was developing around the same time

I would stay up far into the night to play SC probably from like 2nd grade on

I can't remember if we had it in the house before I was shown it in school.

In.school it would be 1999 -.but we had a PC from 1996 so I may have used it earlier than that.

Took off after 2000 - mainly cheat codes from cc central.com I seem to.recall. Rotten.com, ebaumsworld, newgrounds. Good times.

first forum i think i used was for a local skaye park and i pretty much did a worse version of young UG jake where i whinged on about emo bands being bad and Sex Pistols/Nirvana being the best bands ever.

i think i actually seriously challenged someone to a fight back then, too. p sure we both bitched out.

later there was the frequent AIM days. a kid who was dating this girl i'd made a move on threatened to beat me up.

the next four years there was this kid i'd see on weekends when i went to CCD who stayed as far away from me as possible and never talked to me. friend told me it was the kid who wanted to beat me up and he was apparently afraid of me in all my frightening 6 feet, 150 lbs of pure scrawniness.

...

anyway, Hapland was another internet thing in middle school.
