Hi,

I was wondering if I could plug my bass through a Boss GT6 Bass Multi/Effect Pedal into my guitar amp, a 90W fender champion 300?

I don't care how it sounds, I am more concerned if it will cause any damage to my guitar amp.

This isn't a permanent move, I found the Gt6 online for 175$ and am going to try it out but don't have access to a bass amp right now.

As long as you don't have the volume too high (blow the speaker) it should be fine.

Scott58,

Were you thinking that the pedal might have audio out jack? I'll check into that.

Or were you suggesting that I plug headphones into my guitar amp inorder to bypass the main speaker and reduce my risk of damage to the amp?

Regardless thank you all for responding.

Either way. I wouldn't risk my speaker.
