Hi All,
Going through Linear Articulations by Pat Martino. He says "upon completions of this section, one should move to the next phase" after showing a bunch of 8th note exercises oriented around chords and inversions.

How would you go about taking on a book like this, or any exercise set? Ive heard 300 bpm is a good time for playing jazz. Would you master these at 300 bpm and then move on? Right now i can take them at 250. Should i move on if i know them well to cover more material? Or should i spend my time really nailing these at 300 bpm

Looking for advice from someone who can play real fast
