2:30 AM
I should be in bed
Instead I'm up watching
Danny Dyer films instead...

Caffeine in the morning
Wake my sorry brain
Gotta find my Oyster Card
Or I might miss the train...

10:30 AM
I should be out of bed
Instead I'm lying, feeling sorry
With a thumping, bumping head...

Caffeine in the morning
I planned breakfast on the train
Replacement bus service means
I'll be late for work again...
There's a great sentiment here that I think is hiding in the directness of this piece.  I'd like to see more clever word choices that give it that tired, bagged-eyes, droll feeling that is at the heart of this.  The poem is too efficient to feel like it's relating lethargy.
