In my strat, I've got a Seymour Duncan Little '59 in the neck position, a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the middle position, and a Wilde/Bill n' Becky L500XL in the bridge position. Standard strat wiring, 5-way switch with 1 volume and 2 tones. Since it's got all humbuckers, I find no need for the notch positions on the 5-way. I want to install the 3-way switch with full neck humbucker in the neck position, full middle humbucker in the middle position, and full bridge humbucker in the bridge position. I haven't found any wiring diagrams for this configuration on the internet. Anyone ever tried this configuration?

wire the hot wire from neck on the first left, the hot from midle to the second left , the hot from bridge to 3 from left, the 4 is your output so wire those to volume,or whatever, the rest 5,6,7,8 u wont be needing. ground is on the chassis.

this is a diagram for 2 hummbuckers on 3 way switch ->( http://www.tdpri.com/attachments/3-way-switch-1-jpg.3467/ )
this is how the switch works ( http://www.tdpri.com/attachments/ibby_5-way-jpg.74450/ )
the only reason to use the 678 pins are iff u want to get 2 pickups in middle position.
kristbubnjar Those are the cheap import switches you would find on import guitars from Asia (I already have quite a few in my toolbox) but I have a proper Fender 3-way Tele switch laying around and I want to put it to good use. (The 5-way in my strat is kinda rusted and stiff)
