Hello I'm pretty much doing this for research I'm a "alternative metal" guy and I was just wondering about 2x12 cabs and my biggest question is what would you get a port city 2x12, powered by omega 2x12 or a Morgan 2x12. I personally like the combo between a greenback and a v30 or cream back so what would you recommend thanks

Also the bands I like are our last night, dance Gavin dance, paramore and crown the empire also I love guitar music like intervals and animals as leaders

Ported cabs are too directional for me.

a greenback won't give you much for maximum wattage.

I have an open back 2x12 with a V30 and a Greenback. Awesome full sound but just bear in mind the total handling of any 2x12 with a greenback in the mid will only be 50watts.

The creamback 65's are obviously meant to be very similar to a greenback and paired with a V30 will give you 120watts handling. The only issue is the sensitivity, which is 97db, compared to 98db of the greenback or 100db of the V30.

In my cab you can definitely hear the V30 more than the greenback, which is okay, but obviously with the creamback it's going to be just that slight bit more noticeable.

If you paired a Greenback with a Creamback you probably wouldn't notice the volume difference as much, but once again you'd be stuck with 50watts handling. Better to just go with 2 creamback IMHO.

exactly. a 50 watta is extremely limiting. k100's mix with v30's excellently.

I must say that I have no experience with creambacks.
