Hello! I am having trouble with my ring and pinky becoming independent. I cannot seem to lift one or the other without one following and because the finger muscles share a tendon, is it possible to make them independent like the first and second finger? My goal is to try to make them independent like jason becker in this video
I cannot do that with my pinky also following any tips would be helpful.
Practice trills between your 3rd and 4th finger like this

E -5h6p5h6 etc.       this will build up strength

It might hurt at first but don't stop, your just building up your muscles
