Hello I have a Marshall  mg 10 cd amp  I got it cheap, it worked for a few times then it just made a weird shrieking sound almost like a pulsing noise . I have plugged it in a few times since sometimes I get no sound no noise other times I get that pulsing shrieking noise.  Any ideas  on what I am dealing with?  I know  you don't want to just open up an  Amp and start poking around  but I would like to fix it if possible rather than buying another.thanks

Just let it go, you will thank us later.  The shrieking sound is the MG death rattle.
"Your sound is in your hands as much as anything. It's the way you pick, and the way you hold the guitar, more than it is the amp or the guitar you use." -- Stevie Ray Vaughan

"Anybody can play. The note is only 20 percent. The attitude of the motherfucker who plays it is 80 percent." -- Miles Davis

Thanks  I figured as much was just hoping it was something simple like bad connection or soldering. Easy come easy go
