Ill say budget probably $400 as long i can do the monthly payments on zzounds. I play any style. I was thinking of going with the  Champion 40, decent size and from couple of vids i seen it sounds good.  Any other better recomendations? Thanks in advance.

What type(s) of music do you usually play? Do you only need home practice volume levels or would a bit more power be useful in the future maybe?
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

i play mostly rock. Not really a specific genre of rock. A little more power will be great for the future

Khriz134 The most obvious to me are the Boss Katana amps. Next would be the Peavey Vypyrs. Yamaha THR10 series, although they would need external amplification/speakers for gig use. Also you could consider the Spider V series if you like a lot of tweakability, although I am struggling with my opinion on them.

I'd probably get this:
http://www.zzounds.com/item--LNYCUB10

or try these solid state/modeling amps:

http://www.zzounds.com/item--YAMTHR10C

http://www.zzounds.com/item--YAMTHR10X

The Katana is OK but I am surprised for the most part that people like them so much...they're meh at best...

Nothing beats a tube IMO.

Great practice amps - Peavey Vypyr (probably the best for metal), Blackstar ID:Core, Boss Katana, Roland Cube.
Practice Amps you should avoid- Marshall MG, Line6 Spider.

If you're going for a Vypyr, you won't be disappointed. The cleans aren't amazing but the distortion is excellent. ID:Cores and Katanas are great too.
