Hey all,

Bought Guitar Pro 6 years ago, been using and loving it since then. Recently upgraded to Guitar Pro 7, and am having a huge problem.

Any drum patterns with rests in-between the cymbal hits will choke them, and it sounds terrible. I can't find any fix and haven't gotten an answer back from support yet.

This is confirmed on OSX, but haven't yet tried on my Windows 8.1 desktop.

Anyone else experiencing this? Or found a fix?

Thanks!

Can you not just remove the rests (either tie the cymbals there, or for instance instead of eighth note + eighth note rest, make the note length a quarter)? I don't like drum parts written with a load of rests in anyway. If you can give an example I can maybe say a different way to write it, even though I'm only using Guitar Pro 5.
