Quick reminder: When anyone first starts out to learn an instrument, everything seems hard, simply because it is hard when your not use to doing it. My first 3 months, I learned A, C, D, G, and E chords on my acoustic. once I was able to move between those chords, and make it sound somewhat musical, I added A minor E minor,  and some barre chords, F, G, A, B, C, D, E. 6 months later I'm having fun with it, because with just these chords, you can play many songs. Don't get caught up in making it to difficult in the beginning, everyone learns at a different pace. Just have fun with it, and eventually things will start coming to you. Your success is determined by your effort and your learning curve. If you ask any professional musician how often they play and practice, most of them are going to tell you anywhere from 2 to 6 hours a day..everyday..because that is what it takes to become good!!!...Have a nice day...and keep on playing.
