Have you been able to pick up the DC3? Mesas aren't kniwn for being light, might not be a marked improvement.

Also, what sounds are you wanting? The DC3s are cool, but if you like modern metal the 5150 is hard to beat. Might be better to buy a good handtruck.

The mesa is probably only half the weight of a 5150 212 combo. Comes down to what sorts of tone you're looking for.

I do have a handtruck, but most of my gear are in the basement. Moving it up and down a flight of stairs is really a pain in the ass haha. To be honest I don't play modern metal as much. Maybe the Mesa would be a better fit for me since I play a variety of genres.

Yeah the Mesa is probably better for your needs. Do you have a strap for your truck? Useful for any amp.
