Im after a guitar for playing heavy metal, "must" have EMG 81/85, mahogany body, 24 frets and no trem.
when i google it, i always end up with one or two of my criteria missing, so can anyone throw a few suggestions my way please, looking to spend 500 - 600 pounds sterling.
Thanks in advance folks

Agreed.  Why "must" it have an EMG 81/85 set?  I can think of no fewer than 12 pickup sets that to my ears sound better than that stale EMG combination...

Fernandes Dragonfly Deluxe has EMG 60/81, but ticks all the other boxes.

Godin's Redline II ticks them all, but is discontinued. Still findable, though.

It "HAS" to have EMGs cos ive made a little electronic gadget that interferes with the wavelength and lets me do all sorts with them, i wouldn't have stipulated otherwise, i know what im doing

Dean Custom 450.

If basswood will do then there are a bunch of Jacksons: SLATTXMG3-6, SLATTXMGQ3-6, or KEXTMG.

I just bought bought a schecter c1 platinum from guitar center on sale for 449.00 it meets all of those requirements and is just as good of quality as my c1 hellraiser. Definitely worth checking out.

Edit: looks like its back at it's regular price of 549.00 but it is still worth it. Plays like a dream.
