If a = 2 and b = 3, then:
a + b = c
c^2 = 19 + d
Therefore, what previously used variable can best represent d/2?
a + b = c
c^2 = 19 + d

b
is this a trick?

this is easy stuff
i accidentally the wrong one tho
d=6, 6/2 is 3, b=3
factoring was fun

i don't know what wolfinator minus x is
#13
a marginally less stupid name, admittedlyi don't know what wolfinator minus x is

Negative A, obvs.
#15
I'm skipping some steps but whatever:
2+3=5
5*5=25
25-19=6
6/2=3
2+3=5
5*5=25
25-19=6
6/2=3

what was the correct answer, surely not the first one
you see, I don't know if you intended this, as I believe the symbol : is not used as a division sign everywhere, but in many countries it can be, and thus creates much confusion especially in this case
pit needs more math threads, I encourage everyone to post more math problems

Answer is always the D
#19
Answer is G: the answer doesn't exist because I have no empirical basis to judge how and why the variables were created in the first place.

I learned early on that teachers have very little foundation in epistemology and if you ask them why enough they go away.
Then in college as a philosophy major I learned that didn't work anymore.

(((A + B)^2 )-19)/2 ≠ B
Otherwise, if A=3 and B=2, 6/2 would = 2
Otherwise, if A=3 and B=2, 6/2 would = 2

The variables form a commutative ring, therefore the solution is the inner product of the basis of the linear transformation from the vector space of said variables to itself that computes the result. It's 33
