I have a squier standard strat. I bought it about 3 weeks ago and it was fine, but now for some reason the volume of g string is quite a bit more than other strings. Even when i unplug the guitar and play then also it sounds alot louder and also the notes on 1-5 frets are out of tune even when open g is in tune and notes on frets are 8-12 are reasonably in tune. Also i do a lot of bending on that string. What can i do to fix it? Thanks!

the guitar needs a setup. there are tons of videos on youtube.

if you don't feel comfortable, take it to a TECH. not a guitar center barbarian. ask if you can watch and ask questions.
