Is there any tonal difference in sound between 50s wiring and modern wiring when both volume and tone are set to 10? I googled it and the answer seems to be there is no difference at all but I am not sure.
Think about it. When a pot is turned all the way to 10, it has virtually zero resistance, with almost none of the guitar signal passing through the capacitors. Since the mod is concerning how the capacitors are wired, and virtually zero signal is passing through them anyway, then how much difference can it really make?
