Hey folks,

I cannot play/practice via Amp currently, because of my neighbours. So for some longer period of time, I was thinking about why not using an Amp Simulation on PC.
I would like to use the setup like this:

  • Plug the guitar directly to some kind of interface
  • Start some simulation
    Hit youtube

  • Start a backing track
  • jam
  • got everything routed to headphones or speakers.

The whole setup should be as simple as possible, I dont like these audio programs with 1000s of options.
I'm hoping to get some good suggestions from you on which interface and which piece of software to use. Is latency still a thing to be concerned about?

Or does someone know a very good practice amp that features aux in, headphones, usable sounds, etc...

Thanks in advance
Christoph
