I only want to spend 500 dollars and it must play well with a metal pedal. I want to play pantera, slayer, metallica, iron maiden..etc

For $500 why don't you buy an amp that will cover those bands?

Peavey JSX, XXX, XXX II, XXL, 6505+ combo, 5150/6505 212 combo
Laney IronHeart
Or save a little more and get a Mesa Single Rectifier - you probably won't use the tube rectifiers anyway.

For a pedal platform I was going to say the ValveKing as well.

Find something fairly clean -- if you've got that pedal, you don't need a second channel with a ton of gain.
