I figured I would leave this post promoting our new website here.
It's absolutely relevant, in the sense that we're looking for musicians with recordings.

Are you sick of the current state of the music industry?
We're building a grassroots industry that focuses on the most important aspects of music distribution:

-Creating great songs
-Making sure the greatest songwriting skills get rotation.
-Giving artists the resources they need to produce great tracks.

Navigate to www.ourindustry.net and submit your mp3 to get involved today!

No thanks. I don't like grass music. Especially if it's blue.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grassroots

"A grassroots movement (often referenced in the context of a political movement.) is one which uses the people in a given district as the basis for a political or economic movement. Grassroots movements and organizations use collective action from the local level to effect change at the local, regional, national, or international level. Grassroots movements are associated with bottom-up, rather than top-down decision making, and are sometimes considered more natural or spontaneous than more traditional power structures."

Your first and third bullet points about distribution have nothing to do with distribution. Creating good songs has nothing to do with distributing them, bad songs can get passed around like wildfire, and good songs can go nowhere. Creating good songs is always a positive, but it has nothing to do with distribution. Same token, letting artists produce good content on a budget has nothing to do with distribution either. Again, creating good content is always a positive, as is doing it on a tight budget, but that has nothing to do with distribution. A song's quality has nothing to do with how many platforms it gets onto, and the budget its creator spent to make it has nothing to do with getting it into more hands.

If you're going to scam people, at least put effort into making it look like you know what you're saying.
