I recently acquired a hand built telecaster but I've noticed an issue, presumably with the ground.

Other guitars that I have had that have had grounding issues were normally grounded when I would touch the strings, the bridge, pickups etc. But for this guitar it will only manually ground when I touch the actual metal either of the pots, the metal on the control panel, or the outlet jack. Does it make sense for the grounding to only go away when I touch these parts of the guitar and is there a solution to this? Thanks

It sounds like your bridge hasn't been grounded.
Not taking any online orders.

Check all your ground wires and make sure there is one coming from the bridge. All pieces should have a ground wire going to the back of the volume pot
YA GOTTA HIT IT ON THE ONE
