Lost pictures on my Mac, is there any way to get them back? These pictures were not deleted, they were just not there when I looked in the Gallery. No backup was done on the Mac. Need help please.

I'll need your name, date and place of birth, social security number, bank details, the name of your first pet and school, and your mother's maiden name.

With that limited amount of information, and not being an expert myself, I would suggest it could be related to your iCloud account. Sometimes sync issues can cause documents to become unavailable for seemingly no reason. The Apple forums are going to be a far better place to ask than here though.

time machine?

Would only make sense if he made a backup and if it's recent. If its not cloud related then you might want to worry a bit OP.

double check the folder/directory that the photos should be, rather than trying to navigate through an application. sometimes apps get rerouted or photos get moved around

but yeah they're gone, sorry
it's all just coming back

I suggest to try disk drill software. It's easy in use.  If you can normally connect it to your Mac and view the contents, Disk Drill can scan it. Quick Scan and Undelete Unprotected Data methods can recover ANY file type. You ca nalso find a detailed instruction here. It aims to protect your Mac from losing data in the event that it crashed.

1. Open an internet browser.
2. Go to a search engine.
3. Find and re-download all the centaur/unicorn gay porn
