Good evening everyone,

I currently have a ESP LTD TE-202 (alder body, maple neck/fretboard) that I plan on replacing the stock neck humbucker in. I'm seeking something that can do nice cleans (not mega sparkly) and can still be smooth for solos, and have narrowed it down to the Alnico Pro II and the '59N by Seymour Duncan. Any help on the decision would be appreciated

  • Seymour Duncan 805 Overdrive

The Alnico II Pro will be smoother than the '59. The 59 is scooped by comparison, and has more 'attack' than the Alnico II Pro.

I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
