Hey,

Whammy bar got lost a while ago and I have no clue what to look for. My guitar is a Encore red strat (I think it keeps getting called a squire lol)

Anyways I'm just wondering wether I need a specific size or shape/type etc

Your best bet is probably to look for a new guitar if you have the budget - Encores are the cheapest of the cheap disposable guitars so any whammy bar you buy will probably cost more than the guitar is worth.

Encore don't make spares.  All you can realistically do is get on ebay & search for strat whammy bars, buy the cheapest & hope it fits.  You may find someone selling one off a Squier or something, but no matter what you buy you can't guarantee it will fit, just a slightly different circumference or screw thread will mean it's useless to you.
