They are currently out of stock, and I contacted customer service to see when they would be in stock, but if they won't be in stock again I could use some help finding one.

But do you think they'll ever make them again?

I have no way of knowing that. You want one then those are your best options to do so right now. You can take a chance or just get the guitar you want. Pretty simple.

You could e-mail Kurt about any ETA, or do a custom quote.

I thought of doing that, but in total l would be spending over $900 on one of those (which isn't too bad for a custom but I just can't afford that right now) for the most basic features.

Next options: e-mail Kurt for info: kurt@rondomusic.com

or

Look used: eBay, Reverb, and I've run across them from time to time at Guitar Center.

Might also consider an Epiphone Explorer--used for better pricing. I ran across one of those suckers at Sweetwater, and it was pretty badass to try.

There's also the Dean Z, but with Dean's reputation, it's probably better to look for something above the ZX model.

You might enlist the help of the AGF forum to help you find one. Sometimes there are folks who have things they're not using and the query can joggle one loose...
