I have been looking at a few of these heads, and all of them were built in either 1999 or earlier. Since I haven't been able to find a later model, what are the chances of an earlier JCM2000 running into an overheating problem even if has been played by the previous owner all these years?
You're more likely to get an answer in the Marshall forum.

All you need to do is replace the bridge rectifier with a bigger one. Get one that you can fit a heatsink to.
