I had been using a very old MacBook Pro and the Mbox Mini 2.

I recently got a brand new MacBook Pro and I would like to upgrade my audio interface. I will be exclusively using GarageBand.

I will almost exclusively be recording 1 track at a time. Vocals, guitar, bass and a keyboard.

My main focus would be on sound quality. I do not need a bunch of inputs and whatnot.

I've narrowed it down to this one

I'd like to stay around $200. If anyone had any similar recommendations I would really appreciate it.

No midi needed, have never used it. I'll just be plugging the keyboard in.

OK, this then:

REason - better converters and DI/preamp than the competition in the price range. No midi though, so you might have to the midi to usb converter eventually if you decide to go that route. I don't always use midi, but I find it handy when composing drums, tapping in the beat instead of having to do it on the grid. I have a little keyboard by IK multimedia that has its own drivers though so my big audio interface midi is left open for the most part.
