So I was at camp with these people who had quite a basic taste of music- you know, the average mumble rapping. So they decided to do a rap battle in their cabin. I got to listen to a kid beatboxing the most basic, least creative "boom, ka-tchk, boom boom ka-tchk" rhythm I have ever heard. Then they asked me to give them a beat- and stopped me ten seconds later because I went into this alternating irregular time-signature, polyrythmic "drum" (or should I say mouth) fill reminiscent of Meshuggah. So yeah. The look on their faces was satisfying. Just wanted to throw this out there.
