Pete Townshend (more or less, he was a rhythm player)
Jimi Hendrix (his lead work was great, but to be able to play the shit that he did while singing is amazing)

No, if it was, he'd be ranting and raving about how Jimmy Page is the greatest guitarist of all time.

Brad Whitford, Robbie Krieger (in some songs rhythm is badass), and just to be clichéd, John Lennon.

actually in the angus young guitar legends magazine, angus said that malcolm was better (random fact: he wrote the main riff for back in black), but that malcolm couldnt keep up with playing lead because "it would interfere with his drinkin'"

Is that true?? I've looked at Rolling Stones albums and they seem to list Keith as rhythm guitar, but I don't know what he officially is.

I know... He's lead though...

yay, two people who agree with me on this subject. Brad is the man. Great lead guitarist as well.

I'm really disappointed in Rockin the Joint. Apparently, the DVD portion includes nowhere near the whole show, which is a complete disappointment. 25 songs played that night, I think 6 from Toys in the Attic.
