suggestion for those who may have "difficulty" getting into meshuggah
check out their older songs, like the ones off "contradictions collapse." they're like an f-ed up metallica

suggested tracks
1. Choirs of Devastation
2. Erroneous Manipulation
3. Cadaverous Mastication

even then, they are hard to swallow (requiring more than one listen)

"I" by Meshuggah........one of, if not the most insane song ever written. If you don't run out and kill someone after listening to this song you're just not metal.

I have this song "I Berc" its 20minutes long is that the song you are talking about?

I ****ing love Meshuggah. They're an incredibly talented and original band.

Meshuggah is amazing. all their albums are rather kickass. when i listen to it i feel as if someone suddenly jumped out of my speakers and started pummelling me. the best part is that there is absolutely no letup for the duration of the cd. they go all out, all the way through. its intense

Sometimes I actually some Meshugga songs quite soothing there must be something wrong with my ears. They even remind me of Tool on some tracks, with those weird time signatures.

I don't think he sounds anything like hetfield.

the singer from betallica sounds more like him than james himself.

Well, they're not playing any gigs for a while, is what I've read. They've already toured with their older stuff and the stuff from Catch isn't suitable to play live, so they want to wait with touring until they have som fresh material.

It would have been cool if Meshuggah were featured on Gigantour. I mean, come one, they added the Dillinger Escape Plan and not these guys?

ridiculously good drummer...sick sick sick. overall theyre a really talentedand underrated band. i really like the jazz undertones in their music. awesome band IMO.

i was just looking at their website and under the credits for their latest album, they don't have a person doing the drumming. rather, all the members of the band worked together to do drum programming.

Yeah, they programmed it through Tomas' own drum-machine-type-thing (I haven't been able to figure out what the hell it really is), Drumkit From Hell, I think it is called.
