What I am trying to say is a song that makes you feel as if you are in the presence with God so to speak. A song that you find just so incredible that you aren't on earth anymore.

Anyways for me personally, it is One by U2.
I love the build up and when he is at the climax
"and can't be holding on to what you got, when all you got is hurt"
and he releases all that build up energy, I feel as if I am somewhere else.
Though the song is a simple progression, I find it to be absolute genious.

that's my opinion, please don't bash. If you don't like what I or anyone else likes then simply state that you don't like it. Please don't bash.

Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam, that intro alone puts me in this euphoric state. I love it.

"Stream of Conciousness" by Dream Theater

The entire "Scenes from a Memory" cd by Dream Theater.

And, to tell the truth, all the Oompa Loompa songs on "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with Johnny Depp.
Carpe diem; Seize the day.

Just be.

Scales are notes, not shapes, boxes, or patterns.

I love that song!

It's originally by the Greatful Dead, but Bradley added in the part about selling his stuff and selling drugs.

The Sublime version pwns the original.

Anyway: I think Me and Mia by Ted Leo is spectacular.

I'd say Soldier Side by SOAD (Hypnoize version). Especially the end, the song is so powerful toward the war, and Time by PInk Floyd the little breaks after the main verses are so mellow and tasteful that solo is incredible.
