How is Above the Weeping World meh? I can hardly remember what Since the Day sounds like, but stuff from Above the Weeping World gets stuck in my head almost weekly.

This band is too amazing

It seems like they are better then life at times
Only the blue sky and the green grass
Go on forever in this world
Where seconds feel like eternity
And years pass in blink of an eye

Excellent band. FYI, they're entering a studio in March to record a new album and it should be released next fall.

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.

How is this band not exploding with popularity? I just don't understand it. Although, it is kind of nice that they haven't gotten a bunch of annoying fans yet, it's mostly just a few people here and there that love them. Still, it makes me sad for the band that they could be so badass and not get the attention they deserve.
#172
Yeah, they do seem kinda under-appreciated for such an awesome band... and being melodeath rather than some obscure genre you'd expect them to be really popular.

BLASPHEMY!

Meh, they're alright. All of their melodies are like the exact same notes switched around, all of their rhythms either mid paced or tiresome, and they are too melodic to be anything worth listening to.
Glance into my eyes
and see the darkest shadows dancing
Playing in the desert of my life
Burning, -
and my soul is descending...

Quotes, info and stuff from a recent Finnish article...

Preliminary album title: Across the Dark
Released: September 2009
Guest musicians: Aleksi Munter (Swallow the Sun), keyboards; Jules Näveri (Profane Omen), clean vocals

The new album will finish with a song dedicated to Miika Tenkula (Sentenced)

There's quite the same spirit (as in ATWW), but of course some new ideas. We've always ended up with more or less progressive stuff. We really can't write songs less than 9 minutes long... but well, sure there will be shorter songs on the album too!

Sweet! That's not too far away! When they said autumn 09 I thought they meant like November or something.

Can't wait.

So my question is. Can Pre-Cum fluid pass through my underwear, my jeans, onto and through her jeans, through her underwear, and impregnate her?

sounds pretty sweet.

Edit: Except where the last wave broke, that song sounded too much like bullet for my valentine

Listening now...I wish I could hear the full length songs though. Still, they sound fantastic! Insomnium always do great work in the studio, especially with their production. The mix sounds amazing.

Oh I see... whenever Insomnium writes a groove riff and gets Näveri to sing a few cleans they're metalcore I'm digging the riff, a welcome and evolving flavour to their sound.

Insomnium have also confirmed a date in the UK. It's Bloodstock on August 14.
