I think it matters more what context you are using the chord in. But a spanish that I like is: Am G F E. Or you can strum Am really fast and it kind of sounds Spanish, which is probably what you were looking for.

Youve always got these two little pseudo-chord-progressions:

|-0--0-| |-2--2-|
|-0--0-| |-0--1-|
|-1--2-| |-2--2-|
|-2--3-| |-1--1-|
|-2--3-| |-2--2-|
|-0--0-| |------|

Just strum these things in a fast, spanish sort of way, or play around with fingerpicing them, or something.

Really? The first thing I thought of when I saw that is Muse - Citizen Erased, and that sounds anything but Spanish. But then again I guess you're right about using it in the right context.

basically phrygian mode= spanish. derive chords from that. But yeah the whole Am E thing gives a very spanish vibe chord wise. Also the harmonic minor scale can be spanish sounding.

e|2--3--5--3-|
b|3--4--6--4-| Repeat however much you want.
g|2--3--5--3-|
d|-------------|
a|-------------|
e|-------------|

try any variation with those, very easy and very spanish sounding.

harmonic minor and related scales have a flamenco feel. if you can base chords around those, there you have it.
