Keith Richards is the riff-master! I like the satisfaction riff, even if it's overplayed. I don't know, there are a lot of great riffs.

What crawled up your arse and died, n00b? The kid was only warning someone. Ironically, it was about folks like you.

When I read the thread title I instantly thought 'Burn' by Purple. AWESOME riff. That song demonstrated not only their songwriting and construction skills, but the band's virtuosity.

I'd have to say that the headbang riff from Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody has to be the greatest riff of all time after watching that memorable scene from Wayne's World

the most heaviest riff I've ever heard from a Glam Rock band is Ogre Battle from Queen. It's such a killer riff, I don't know why all of Heavy Metal can't sound like this song. Incredible.
