What I've heard of live Radiohead has been awesome, the Live at the Astoria dvd is great and Thom's voice on Exit Music during Glastonbury 97 gives me chills.

Aerosmith w/ Lenny Kravitz is the best show I've seen. The Who, Ozzy, and Alice Cooper also supposedly have good shows (I haven't seen any of them though)

I'd say that Green Day has a pretty good live show. And back in the day Pink Floyd was really awesome live.

Dave Matthews all the way. They sound exactly the same in concert as on the CD if not better.

And also all the country singers are amazing and when I was a young one, I saw Alanis Morrisette and she was amazing although I fell asleep during it

O.A.R is awesome live and so is Guster.

And John Mayer. OK, that's the last one. I swear.

Dream Theater, Opeth, Pain of Salvation, Meshuggah, Between the Buried and Me. All flawless as far as I have seen (except sometimes James LaBrie for Dream Theater is a little weak, at least at Budokan). Between the Buried and Me should receive special mention for their vocalist's versatility. He never falters on any one of the many vocal styles that he uses in their songs.

I don't know why it's such a big deal that Green Day puts on a "good show," because anyone who plays music that ridiculously bland should be able and required to put on a huge extravagant show.

yeah, i saw some of that stuff at the start of xXx... i thought it was absolutely awesome. and i know that was probably minor stuff, only being one song, and on a movie.

EDIT: despite being a crappy movie, xXx is what got me into Rammstein. i stil fucking LOVE 'Feuer Frei'
