I saw a thread like this in the pit a couple weeks ago and I thought it was a good idead so i decided to make one here for Classic Rock collections. Here's some pics of my stuff:

The Beatles

Other Stuff

And just for the heck of it, my non-classic rock stuff

so yeah, if you guys want to show pics of your stuff, that would be cool.

and if you care what any of those are (you probably don't) just look at my recordnerd in my sig, or you can ask me.

Wow...I have all the Beatles albums and for Led Zeppelin I have Physical Graffiti, How the West Was Won, Zoso, and Houses of the Holy. I also have Dark Side of the Moon. That's my classic rock collection. I want more, but I'm poor so I can't exactly get them as fast as I want.

come on everyone, it only takes like 20 minutes to do.

Twenty minutes out of my productive life (sarcastic )

That requires laying them all out... Trying to find a cammera, taking all that time without gettin all horomonal when I see naked tits on the wall.... All in all, to much of a risk.

now anyway, here's some more stuff that aren't in the first pics. probably the weirdest combination of groups: The White Stripes, The Grateful Dead, Nirvana, The Smiths, SRV and Hendrix.

I have a reaally good classic rock collection, but all of them came from my uncle and I take them places, so they're in case, and that's not an interesting pic. But I have all kinds of stuff from Elvis, tot he Beatles, to Alice Cooper, to Ted Nugent , to stuff from the 90's to today, so I'm pretty decked out.

I'd take a picture of my whole music collection but I can't be assed going through everything pulling them out like you've done, I'd think there'd only be about 50 at the most anyway.

I don't want to post any pictures, but the collection my dad has of CDs are unbelievable. He had about 800 Classic Rock CDs plus about 3000-4000 Jazz, Classical, Blues, etc. CDs.

It's awesome. People are astonished at his collection, but my mom thinks it's a disease, lol. I'm inspired to have a collection as good as his when I'm older.

I'd love to have a collection like that. In theory, one day you could inherit it all and your collection will be a lot bigger if you buy music now.

6000+ Vinyl.
1200+ CDs.
140+ Tapes.
12342 Songs In Playlist.

That's my collection. I got all the vinyl and CDs at yardsales, especially this one where this guy had like 2000+ selling for 300 bucks. I took a look at like fifty then ran back and scrounged up the money. Like, 120 of the CDs are burned off of other ones my friends lent me though.

I made a top five list of rock's greatest composing teams. Check it out if you want, almost all are from classic rock bands.

http://utopiandrive.blogspot.com/2006/03/rocks-finest-composing-teams.html

Out of the choices I'd put:

1. The Beatles
2. The Rolling Stones
3. Pink Floyd
4. Zeppelin
5. Radiohead

the fact that radiohead would even be in the top 5 is enough, so their positioning in my opinion is irrelevant. That's your opinion, I respect AND disagree and this is my opinion.
