Do these guys count as hardcore? They are sweet. Do they have anything out besides their self-titled?
if i cut off your arms and legs
and wrap you in some fucked-up cocoon,
would you still look at me and say
"you can't catch what you can't see"
well i caught you honey,
like the clap sugar.
what do you think of that?

I'd say they belong here. My drummer used to bum them but I just didn't like it, not 100% sure why just couldn't dig it.

The self-titled album was fantastic, don't know if there were any releases before that, but its definately a good start.

i absolutely love this band from what i've heard, i've been meaning to buy something in a while. i'd also say they belong in here.
rites of nothing.

the new album is out soonish. its going to be self titled as well, or so im led to believe.
my name is matt. you can call me that if you like.

I thought they were just re-releasing their self titled album?

Anyway, I love The Bronx. I saw them live in 2004. Matt stage dived and spilt his beer on me, he was pretty wasted...
By crook or fist I'll lather up your gracious smile.
And take my time...

I haven't listened to them in a while, but I remember it being alright. Nothing special, it was just there. I may give it another chance and listen to the s/t, though.

great to see some other people who adore the first album like me. i couldn't care less that most of their songs were three chord wonders. they had so much energy and great sing a long lyrics.

anyone listened to the new tunes on the website? i like em but they seem a bit more produced and a little less energetic than the earlier ones

Andrewbiles? Nice avatar, dude!

Anyways, I'm sure which CD I've got, but it's awesome!
Did you see the stylish kids in the riot?

I hate AVA. They sound like U2 and Rush getting beat up by Panic at the Fall Out Boy.

it may sound that way on record but i doubt there is any energy loss on stage

All I have to say about this band is:

No need for safe return, is no need for your concern!
There is no warning, that I’m not ignoring
Ill follow you across the county lines...
And these beads of sweat feel like a flood

You mother****er……I want your BLOOOOOOOOOOOD!

Honestly the most epic moment ever.

yeah theres supposedly a mariachi album and a more traditional bronx rock n roll disc. it sounds good but as i say, the first examples of each arent thrilling. good but could do better. not crap as such. just not mindblowing.

I enjoy this band. I''ll check out the new album later.

Listening through to the new record. Sounds like the last one. Was hoping it'd be a bit faster again this time around. Still alright though, good tunes.

EDIT seriously been listening to this all night. disappointed it isnt as fast as id hoped (at times it just sounds like the drips?) but its still got that bronx swagger. perfect drinking tunes.

Liked this band for a while, False Alarm had a pretty funny video concept too.

these guys kill it. saw them on tour with mastodon. great show.
on the brink of extinction.

Saw them the other night for the second time... They're on tour right now with ETID and a pretty bad band, they definitely steal the show, in case anyone is going.

The new stuff they played was pretty fun.

hopefully gonna be doing an interview with them soon via email.
