Dallas "gone done and went" and destroyed his scream by trying too hard to be from the South. The music is good but I can't get over the really bad parts of their music.

I bought their CD about two weeks ago, and it's decent. Everything sounds the same. I do like what they have going, though. My friend saw them at Warped Tour, and said they kicked a ton of ass.

They're good.
I'm from the South so it's not as weird to me to hear the southern parts, and it sets them apart from other metalcore bands.
Dallas definitely sounds different though.

when dallas was in underoath his scream sucked, it was really staticy and stuff, old underoath had some good guitar stuff though. Dallas' screm can get annoying sometimes though....

The new album completely pwns.

I wasn't too fond of it. It sounds way too much like the new Showdown.

But, the chorus in Memories of the Grove is awful catchy.

they are one of my favorite bands theyre very talented (at least their old stuff)
I hear their new stuff is way too over produced (dallas' scream sounds generic)but that's just what I've heard

I bought their cd and - although they're trying for a more southern sound - i like the lyrics a lot and i think some of them are just as meaningful (even without the extremely wonderful music) as stuff outta The Changing Of Times.

I saw em in concert with P.O.D., Pillar, and The Chariot (freakin' best band I've ever seen live - don't miss em if they come though your town! - myspace.com/thechariot) and they were really good - Dallas looked very professional and looked alot better on stage than he used to! Their stuff sounded great live too!

Would it be safe to compare them and Showdown to Every Time I Die?
I haven't heard either band yet, but I'm gonna be checking them out.
Just wanna know what to expect.
