People are often quick to point that out as a flaw, but It's the reason I like them.

Hasil Adkins for some deep roots, Cramps for some of what youre looking for, but since they deny being psychobilly, The Meteors.

The Living End's earlier stuff but now they've become more pop driven but you can't deny the fact that Chris Cheney is a damn good guitarer. No Brian Setzer though.

Hey,

here is a starting point for Psychobilly bands.

Reverend Horton Heat, The Quakes, Voodoo Monkeys, Mad Sin, and the fathers of all psychobilly The Meteors who first started it all back in the late 70s and early 80s.

As for rockabilly a good starting point is the early 50s stuff with people like Carl Perkins, early Elvis stuff before his stint in the army etc, then go on to things like the Stray Cats, Brian setzer,Chrome Daddies, Chop Tops, Dragstrip 77, Go Cat Go and the Go getters etc there really are so many the list is endless but I hope this is a good starting point for you.

Good Luck!!

Setzer is fantastic. Total guitar has video lessons with him and he's a fantastic guy as well as a great guitarist.

I went searching for something one day (don't remember what) and I came across a band called The Stumble Bums. They're a small band in Texas (don't think they have any CDs or anything), but what I've heard sounds pretty good.

if you like the horrorpops then you should check out The Creepshow. they have a somewhat similar sound to the horrorpops but theyre 10 times better. One of the better bands to come out of toronto me thinks
